Product Description

Francois Pralus now has his own plantation in Madagascar on the island of Nosy Be, also known as the isle of perfumes. From Sao Tome by way of Brazil and Venezuela, Monsieur Pralus has personally selected cacao for the plantation from the finest origins in the world. The beans are grown, harvested, and fermented with care and then roasted and transformed into a delightful chocolate in his Roanne facility. Our 100% bar is chocolate in its purest form. This means it has no sugar added, it's pure cocoa paste. Made from the same high quality cocoa beans as our Madagascar bar (Sambirano Valley), the extra long conche time gives roundness and lusciousness to this ultra high percentage bar. Single plantation chocolate. Fresh nose, slightly minty and fruity, lots of bright acidity. Organic 100% cocoa

The World's Best Dark Chocolate?

This is the best dark chocolate I have found and the only chocolate I consume. It is organic and 100%. Many Whole Foods stores sell it for $8.99. Buy it by the case and save an additional 10%.Just be aware it will probably taste different than the 99% of all other chocolates that are chock full of sugar. But that is a good thing. Why? Pralus 100%

This is one of my top five all-time favourite chocolates! I could not live without it. I'm glad this has been made available on Amazon, but I've got to saythat I'm not pleased with the recent $2 increase in price. Right now Amazon is selling this for $14.99, and I can get this bar for $8.99 on other sites, so that is where I will go from now on.If you appreciate quality, dark chocolate, I cannot recommend this enough!

I have a passion for this chocolate

The hands-down, most delicious black chocolate I've tried (deep dark... no sweet at all in this cocoa-only concoction). If you like it super dark, give it a try! The texture, the flavor, the umami. Oy. Divine.
